Our Customer Service opening hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. The Payment Centre hours are 9am - 4.15pm, with only credit/debit card payments (not cash) between 1pm and 2pm.

Are you consulting on the new four bin collection service?

The public engagement process began with a series of roadshows held in the last two weeks of April 2016. The roadshows were held across East Renfrewshire and explained in greater detail what the changes would mean for households.  However the key principles of the new collection system, for example, the amount of storage capacity and frequency of collections, meet with new Government guidance.

Flatted developments, households with no direct kerbside and properties where there are storage issues have all been considered.  The team has spoken to residents, when available, to develop alternative solutions for these properties. It has not been possible to speak to all residents in these circumstances but letters will be issued prior to the new service to let them know exactly what to do with their waste and recycling.
