Our Customer Service opening hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. The Payment Centre hours are 9am - 4.15pm, with only credit/debit card payments (not cash) between 1pm and 2pm.

Bins, recycling and rubbish

I have two bins for my rubbish, will I get to keep both?

Our additional bin policy has recently changed and is in line with national guidance. The objective is to make sure that households that genuinely require additional capacity get this and provides a more robust method of making sure that only those houses get a second or further bin(s) emptied.

If you currently have two bins you will be required to re-apply for your Additional Bin under the new criteria when your application is due for renewal. Prior to this, you will retain both bins but these will only be emptied once every three weeks.
