Our Customer Service opening hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. The Payment Centre hours are 9am - 4.15pm, with only credit/debit card payments (not cash) between 1pm and 2pm.

Bins, recycling and rubbish

My neighbours have a much bigger grey/black wheeled bin than me

It is bigger than a standard wheeled bin. Can I get one to help me manage my rubbish when the collection moves to once every three weeks?

No. The larger grey bins are no longer issued and will not be replaced when they come to their end of use. These larger bins were bought by residents at a time when the council was not required to divert waste from landfill and encourage more recycling. As these bins belong to residents we have not removed them from use and continue to empty them. The bins are now more than 10 years old and we do not expect them to be in use for many more years. If you do require additional capacity to dispose of waste you can apply for an  Additional Bin.
