Our Customer Service opening hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. The Payment Centre hours are 9am - 4.15pm, with only credit/debit card payments (not cash) between 1pm and 2pm.

Bins, recycling and rubbish

How does the council decide which properties will be getting the four bin service?

The council will provide the two new additional bins for recycling to any household that is currently using a wheeled bin service for non-recyclable (grey/black bins) and/or food and garden waste (brown bins). 

While we recognise that some properties have small gardens and/or steep gardens, it is not for the council to decide who should and shouldn't receive bins on this basis. 

What might be acceptable to one resident in terms of where/how they store bins may be different to what is acceptable to their neighbour.
