Description of your service

At Loretto, we design and deliver individualised care and support services to ensure people can live independent, healthy and happy lives.

Our working practices are underpinned by our Core Values of being person centred, quality providers, committed and open communicators.

We have over 35 years' experience of providing support to people living in their own homes.

Our services are driven by co-creation, compassion, care and respect and delivered in a cost-effective way that gives people the level of support they require and enables them to develop to their full potential.

Loretto provides individuals with access to unparalleled and diverse experience and resources.  In addition to our specific experience of delivering the highest quality Care at Home and Support services, we offer:

  • direct access to high quality social housing across West Central Scotland and beyond
  • a large range of additional services co-designed with the individuals we work for, such as our Community Engagement and Activities Team
  • modern apprenticeships for young people living in East Renfrewshire
  • employability services and a wage subsidy of £7000 for individuals we support who secure employment, which their new employer can then use towards wages and other employment costs
  • financial fitness and money management advice and advocacy services
  • access to directly provided services aimed at helping people achieve excellent health and well-being, including Eat Well where we work with local food retailers to improve individuals' access to healthy food
  • housing advice and advocacy services
  • the opportunity to participate in Loretto's Volunteering Programme, should individuals wish to take part in volunteering their time to help within a range of settings including local charities, businesses and within Loretto's own volunteer focussed projects

Our aspirations are to achieve Care Inspectorate grades of 5 "very good" and 6 "excellent" across all of our services. We have evidence to show that we are on track to deliver this aspiration.
