Welcome to Busby History Group
The
group was set up in 2001 with the aim of promoting the history and heritage of the village of
Busby and making it available to others. through exhibitions and printed material. In collaboration
with East Renfrewshire Council and Stenlake publishers we have produced a book entitled “Old Busby”.
This
website shows a selection of our photographs and information.
Busby History Group is
also keen to record the personal memories
of older residents of the village who can
give us a fascinating insight into life as it used to be
