Annual notification

When to pay

You can pay your business rates in either of the following ways:

  • Ten monthly instalments from May to February. Payments are due on the 7th of each month.

  • Two half-yearly instalments in June and December.

If you have not paid the equivalent of at least four monthly instalments (or the first half-yearly payment) by 30 September 2008, you will have to pay the rates in full for the whole year.

Direct Debit is the most efficient way to pay your bill. Renfrewshire Council can send you a mandate form, which will arrange for the amount to be taken directly from your bank or building society on or after the 7th of each month. Contact details are at the bottom of this page.
