Economic information and analysis

We have published our new 5 year Economic Development Strategy for East Renfrewshire. The strategy links closely to the Scottish Government’s stated economic objective:

“Sustainable economic growth is the one central Purpose to which all else in Government is directed and contributes.” (Foreword, The Government Economic Strategy, 2007)

Our priorities for East Renfrewshire will be:

1) Business diversification and growth

2) Competitive locations, transportation and sustainability

3) Skills, enterprise, education and employability

4) Tourism and leisure

5) Marketing and promotion
