EAST RENFREWSHIRE ART CLUB
6th - 18th October

East Renfrewshire Art Club had its inception in 2005 when a group of enthusiasts who had been attending GSA classes at the House of an Art Lover came together to form the group. They have a membership of 12 and now meet regularly at the Albertslund Hall in Newton Mearns. They have enjoyed great success with their one day shows at Clarkston Hall and hope to build on this with their first exhibition at Eastwood Park Theatre.

SOCIETY OF SCOTTISH ARTISTS
21st October - 15th November

The SSA is making a welcome return to Eastwood Park Theatre.

Run for and by artists since its inception in 1891 , the SSA aims to provide exhibition opportunities for new and emerging artists and to promote the best of contemporary art in Scotland. The SSA has always been willing to show the controversial, the unique and the most challenging work available. There are few artists of note who have not, at one time or another been involved with the SSA, from the Glasgow Boys, Scottish Colourists, William McTaggart, and Joan Eardley to Peter Howson, to name but a few. International members and exhibitors have included Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Klee and Edvard Munch.

CELEBRATION OF THE FIGURE
18th November - 4th December

Once the mainstay of church and court art,  and a necessary part of an artists education, figurative art has sometimes struggled against dominant fashion trends. In a celebration of the human form, this wonderful new exhibition will bring some of the most prominent Scottish artists together under one roof, including:

Steven Campbell
John Byrne
John Bellany
and  more.
