There are 9 active community councils established in East Renfrewshire. Details of these community councils' membership, meeting dates and venues can be accessed from their individual webpages.

Meetings are open to the public and you are welcome to attend.

 

 

Your Guidance Handbook has been produced for community council members in East Renfrewshire, to support them in managing their community councils effectively.

Barrhead Community Council meets in the Council Offices on Main Street, Barrhead, on the first Thursday of each month at 7.00pm.

Busby Community Council meets in the Duff Memorial Hall, in Busby, on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7.30pm.

Are you interested in starting up a Community Council in Clarkston?

Crookfur, Greenfarm & Mearns Village Community Council meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in Fairweather Hall.

Eaglesham & Waterfoot Community Council meets in the Montgomerie Hall, Eaglesham, 2nd Tuesday of every month. Meetings are open to the public.

Giffnock Community Council meets at 7:00 p.m., in Giffnock Library, Station Road, on the 3rd Monday of each month.

Neilston Community Council meets on the last Tuesday of each month in the Glen Halls at 7.00 pm.

Are you interested in starting up a community council in the Netherlee and Stamperland area?

Thornliebank Community Council meets in Thorntree Hall on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.15pm.

Uplawmoor Community Council meets in the Mure Hall, Uplawmoor on the third Monday of each month at 7.30 p.m., with the exception of July and December.
