Couples who form a civil partnership will have the legal status of a civil partner. In order to form a civil partnership you must first give 14 days notice.

Civil partnership ceremonies are carried out in our Giffnock and Barrhead marriage suites and in Eastwood House. You may also have your ceremony in some local hotels.

Our traditional registry offices offer an intimate setting, and our attractive Eastwood House provides picturesque and romantic surroundings. We can tailor your civil ceremony to the finest detail, and because we are the first council in Scotland to allow you to have your ceremony any day of the year, you will be spoilt for choice.
