Elections and voting
The Council is responsible for the conduct of Westminster, Scottish Parliament, European and Council elections in East Renfrewshire.
The Council has appointed Lorraine McMillan, Chief Executive, as Returning Officer for the purposes of organising each event.
An Election Office is established at Council HQ (0141 577 3004/3015).
Information on specific elections will be given on this page as and when elections are called.
The next election will be the European Parliamentary which will be held on Thursday 4 June 2009.
