With a wide range of e-books, e-audiobooks and online titles available to enjoy 24/7, including bestsellers, children's fiction, non-fiction and classics, there is sure to be something for everyone!
Download with Overdrive
You can browse the eBooks collection, check out titles with your library card and download to PC, Mac® and many mobile devices. You can download from home or from compatible mobile devices with internet access.
To get started, you will need to install some free software: this is a one-off operation that will get your system or device up and running with the e-book and e-audiobook collection. To help you do this go to the Overdrive Quick Start Guide in the External websites area.
The titles you borrow can be enjoyed immediately or transferred to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony® Reader™ and many others.
You can borrow two titles at a time and decide whether you would like to borrow for 7, 14 or 21 days.
Any titles that are on loan to another user may be reserved and an email will be sent once they become available.

Public Library Online Collection
As well as the overdrive collection, there are also many fantastic online titles for you to choose from as part of the Public Library Online collection.
Simply browse the 'bookshelves', pick your next great read and you are good to go. No fuss and no software required. Just great titles ready to enjoy straight away. You can access Public Library Online from your local library, from home or from a mobile device with internet.
