The CHCP vision for children’s services is that all children and young people in East Renfrewshire will have equal access to services when they need them. Services should support children and young people to reach their potential in all aspects of their lives. This vision is set out in ‘Achieving Aspirations’ East Renfrewshire’s Integrated Children’s Services Plan.
Children and young people in East Renfrewshire should be safe, nurtured, healthy, achieving, active, respected and responsible, and included. The CHCP is responsible for continuing to improve outcomes for children and young people through integrated services.

Children's Services Directory
The Directory details services for children, young people and families in East Renfrewshire. The need for a Directory was agreed by all partner Agencies involved in planning Children’s Services, including representatives from health, education, social work, housing, community and leisure, Strathclyde Police, Scottish Reporter’s Administration, careers and the voluntary sector. The Directory is intended to provide a range of information that will be of benefit to individuals who live or work locally.
The Directory (pdf 79.1kb)is divided into two main sections (click following links to open). Section one (pdf 277kb) provides general information about places to go, including information about whether or not there are eating facilities, wheelchair access etc. Section two (pdf 359kb) provides information about specific resources, including contact details and details of how to access the service. A list of helplines and useful health website addresses is provided at the back of the Directory. The Directory (pdf 79.1kb) is updated as required.
