ACUMEN is a service user and carer led network for the area previously covered by NHS Argyll & Clyde. We aim to promote the wider involvement of service users and carers in shaping mental health services. Our Board of Directors comprises service user and carer representatives from Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and West Dunbartonshire.

Full membership of ACUMEN is open to mental health service users and carers who have direct experience of mental ill health or who have cared for someone with mental health problems.  Anyone with an interest in mental health may join as an associate member.  Membership is free and application forms are available at the above address. Our newsletter is produced quarterly and copies of this may be obtained by contacting the office.  If you wish to know more about ACUMEN, please contact our development worker - Sandra Stuart, at the above number.
