East Renfrewshire CHCP is a health improvement organisation. The CHCP leads on tackling poor health with other organisations involved in Community Planning. The CHCP is responsible for making a difference to the health of the population and reducing inequalities. Health improvement activity is lead by the Health Improvement Team as a specialist resource providing support across all CHCP services.

The CHCP works to further develop partnerships to support health improvement through regeneration, the Public Partnership Forum, and the voluntary sector. Health improvement is a core responsibility of the management team with overall responsibility placed with the Head of Planning and Health Improvement.
