East Renfrewshire Health Improvement Network

Health improvement is everyone's business. One of the strategic priorities for East Renfrewshire CHCP is to build health improvement capacity and promote partnership working through the establishment of a Local Health Improvement Network (ER HIN). This will aim to facilitate the sharing of local intelligence, resources and knowledge to ensure that work is planned and co-ordinated in a way which integrates health improvement into core activity across East Renfrewshire.

Information

Currently there are a number of websites which can support this work. The Public Health Resource Unit (PHRU) has an area dedicated to evidence of effective practice in each of the topics represented by the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde networks e.g. children and young people, mental health etc.  The Glasgow Centre for Population Health  can provide a range of information ranging from specific work programmes through to local community information, e.g. Health and Wellbeing Profiles

Locally the My Health Website was developed by East Renfrewshire libraries in conjunction with a range of partners, and has information on a range of topics including health and learning. The CHCP itself has a range of plans which are both generic e.g. CHCP Development Plan and theme based, e.g. Integrated Children's Services Plan, these are available via the Publications link on the left hand side of this page.

A range of other relevant documents and research, which help to inform practice are available directly from this page and by using the links at the bottom of the page - Director of Public Health Annual Report, Better Health Better Care, Let Glasgow Flourish
