Item Name [Item Title]
Name or
short descriptive title given to the resource.
Type of Object
[Type]
The type of resource or object, genre or level of aggregation, e.g. collection,
image, text, dataset, physical object.
Type Detail [Format]
More
detailed than the “Type of Object”, denotes the format, e.g. photograph, map, newspaper, animation,
video clip, text, television program, sculpture.
Organisation
Organisation or body responsible for the creation of the resource
Collection
Name [Collection Title]
Name given to a collection of resources or objects, which
have meaningful links or elements in common.
Creator Surname
Surname
of author or creator of the resource.
Creator Firstname
Firstname
of author or creator of the resource.
Description
Description
given to the resource, including an account of the content, e.g. table of contents, abstract, listing
of items in a collection.
Start Date [Date Start]
Contains
the year only. This is the earliest known date of the creation of the resource, where the resource spans
a period of time. If the resource covers a single year, the start and end date will be the same.
End
Date [Date End]
Contains the year only. This is the latest known date of the creation
of the resource, where the resource spans a period of time. If the resource covers a single year, the
start and end date will be the same.
Detailed Date [Date Detailed]
Specific
date of the resource, if known, this may include day, month and year; month and year; or whatever elements
of the date are known.
Period
The period
of time to which the resource relates.
Notes
Additional
information relating to the resource.
Text
Used
where the record or resource itself is primary textual information.
Copyright
The
body, organisation or individual owning copyright for the resource or object.
Publisher
Entity
responsible for making the resource available, e.g. name of publisher, person, organisation, service.

Access
Indicates whether or not the resource is available for public inspection.

Name
Name of the person, body or organisation to contact to arrange access to the
