The East Renfrewshire Housing Register (ERHR)
As the largest providers of social rented housing in the area, Arklet Housing Association, Barrhead Housing Association and East Renfrewshire Council have formed a partnership to make it simpler for anyone applying for housing in the area. They have introduced the new East Renfrewshire Housing Register giving applicants the choice of putting their name on 1, 2 or all 3 of the housing waiting lists by filling in just one application form.
If you apply to rent accommodation from any of these landlords will be sent an East Renfrewshire Housing Register Application Pack which will include:
The Housing Application form;
Information about the 3 partners, their housing stock and where it is;
Summarised Allocation Policies for all 3 landlords who will continue to allocate their properties using their own policies. Full Allocation Policies can be obtained on request;
Some questions and answers about the ERHR,
Covering letter.
Applicants can complete the application form and return it to any of the partner landlords at the addresses shown below. It is important that you provide the relevant items of proof which apply to your own circumstances. Photocopies will do. We cannot return documents so please do not send originals.
Your application will be processed and an acknowledgement returned confirming your reference number and other initial details. You will have received a registration letter confirming the landlords you have chosen and the number of points each have awarded in line with their separate allocation policies. Your application will be considered by the landlords you have selected
