Housing service

Our Housing service performs a range of functions which help to maintain and improve housing across East Renfrewshire. We have responsibilities for both public sector housing and private sector housing and for homelessness.

Housing has three sections:

Property services

  • Repair and maintenance of council stock

  • Disabled adaptations

  • Private and public sector initiatives, such as Care and Repair

  • Energy efficiency and fuel poverty

Tenancy services

  • Anti-social behaviour initiatives (including the Community Warden service)
