Emergency out of hours repairs
Emergency repairs are to “make safe” an emergency, e.g. if the gas central heating system breaks down and we are not able to re-start the system, we will offer you electric fan heaters to use until we are able to source the appropriate spare parts for the central heating system.
The following criteria is used by our repair team:
Emergency category response within 4 hours - We will, for example, make safe a burst pipe by turning the water off.
Emergency category response within 24 hours - We will carry out an emergency repair, for example, where there is no heating. If a full repair is not possible, we will supply temporary heating until a repair can be carried out.
We will carry out minor follow-on repairs as a result of annual gas servicing. As work previously inspected, this will be carried out within 20 working days from date of service.
