Major roadworks - Eastwoodmains Road
Major road works have started on busy Eastwoodmains Road, Giffnock, between Eastwood Toll and Percy Drive.
The work will run until Sunday 19 April and road users should allow extra time for journeys.
One westbound lane only will be kept open between Eastwood Toll and Percy Drive and eastbound traffic will be diverted through Mearns Road, Eaglesham Road, Mearns Cross and Clarkston Toll.
The worn-out road surface and life-expired street lighting will be replaced and old and diseased trees will be removed and new ones planted.
All businesses in and around Eastwood Toll will be open as usual with local access provided. Our flyer has more details.
