You can look for items quickly and easily by searching the library catalogue. Items may then be reserved for collection at any East Renfrewshire library.
Search the library catalogue
The library catalogue will let you know what we have in our collection.
To search for books, e-books, audiobooks, spoken word, films, music and more simply type your search term in the "Search library catalogue" box or, for the full range of search options available, go to "Search for books and more" in the External websites area.
Reservations
To reserve an item go to "Library Account Login" in the External websites area. You can search for items, check availability and place the reservation. Once you have placed the reservation you can select any East Renfrewshire Library to collect it from and we'll let you know when it is available. There will be no charge for reserving an item from our collection.
If you can't find what you're looking for contact any library and staff will be happy to help. Even if we do not have a copy of the item you want, we will try to borrow it from another library, or we will consider buying a copy if it is in print.
Improved reservations service
If you have registered your e-mail address with us we will now send an e-mail message to let you know that the items you have requested are ready and waiting for collection at your local library.
E-mailing offers a quicker, more efficient and more environmentally friendly alternative to sending out letters. Simply notify library staff of your e-mail address and we'll do the rest.
