East Renfrewshire Library and Information Service is now offering customers the opportunity to connect to the internet using our Wi-Fi hotspots at Clarkston, Giffnock and Mearns libraries. Have your library card and 4-digit PIN handy. Don't know your PIN? Then contact your local library.

3. Open your web browser and enter your barcode number and PIN.

Fees and charges
You can join the library, borrow books and use our computers for free, however some other library services and administration tasks incur a charge. The following table details the charges for our key services.

Price Reductions and Concessions
We offer a range of price reductions and concessions based on age and personal circumstances.
Price reductions are available to customers aged 18 years and under and 60 years+. Concession prices are available to customers who are disabled, full-time students or on a reduced income.

*Reduced income concessions will be awarded to :
- Unemployed individuals in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance
- Households in receipt of Council Tax Reduction
Proof of concessionary status is required. You should apply for concessionary status as soon as any of the above apply.
