Bookbug sessions and storytimes
Regular events for pre-five children and their parents and carers are held in libraries throughout East Renfrewshire.
Bookbug Week 20th - 26th May 2013
During Bookbug Week all of our sessions will have a special 'Bookbug's Big Adventure' theme with stickers and rhyme sheets to take home.
There will also be a very special 'Bookbug's Big Adventure' session held in Greenbank Gardens, Clarkston on Thursday 23rd May. This event is now fully booked.
Bookbug Sessions introduce music to the very young using simple rhymes, songs and games and are held regularly in Barrhead, Busby, Clarkston, Eaglesham, Giffnock, Mearns, Neilston and Thornliebank Community Libraries.
Come along and join in the fun at these interactive sessions for children and their carers. Unless otherwise stated all sessions are suitable for children aged 0 - 4 years. Due to the popularity of sessions and limitations of space we ask that no more than two adults accompany each child.

Eastwood Park Theatre
Two Bookbug Sessions are held in Eastwood Park Theatre every Thursday. The session at 10am is for children from 0 - 4 years, and at 11am there's a baby session for children up to 18 months . Both sessions are free but ticketed and places must be booked in advance. To book a place go to the external website area or call the Box Office on 0141 577 4970.
Storytimes
Storytelling sessions for pre-school children are held regularly during term time in the following community libraries:
