Some Simple Money Advice

Budgeting

is important because it helps you become more aware of your finances. A good exercise is to write a list of all your monthly incomings and outgoings. You might get quite a surprise!

Saving

is something we all know we should do, whether it’s putting a little money away for a rainy day, or starting a fund for Christmas presents. However after you’ve paid the monthly bills, there’s often not much left! Just remember that every little helps – work out a budget and see what you can afford.

Credit Cards

are handy things – they mean you don’t have to carry around cash and are useful if you’re a little short at the end of the month. It’s easy though to let your spending get out of hand. A good rule of thumb is to pay your bill in full each and every month BEFORE the due date. If you can’t, then you are spending more money than you have.
