Jobs Action Team
If you live in East Renfrewshire, the Jobs Action Team can help you find answers to all sorts of work related questions and assist you to move into work or training. They can help you with your CV, find out about funding and childcare and advise you on how your benefits will be affected when you get a job.

Careers Scotland
Career's Scotland gives help to people of all ages and at all stages of their careers. They give high quality information, advice and guidance to assist you in identifying opportunities and making decisions. They offer help and advice that is free of charge and tailor made to your needs.
Barrhead Careers Scotland Centre is open Monday to Friday 1pm to 5pm school term time and 9am to 5pm during school holidays. You can call in and speak to a Careers Adviser, or call to make an appointment.
Career's Scotland works can help with career planning and with benefit claims and job seeking skills. They are also able to refer you on to many other services, including training (for young people), mental health groups and volunteer organisations.
They also have a well stocked resource area:

- Newspapers
- College and university prospectus
- Books on CV’s, Application Forms, Interview skills and much more
