The Community Health and Care Partnership (CHCP)
The CHCP is responsible for delivering all local health and social care services in East Renfrewshire.
The CHCP brings together local health and social work services such as:
- Health visiting
- Community nursing
- School nursing
- Older people’s teams
- Local community mental health teams
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
East Renfrewshire CHCP exists to meet the needs of residents and of the community. The CHCP aims to give you help and advice sensitively, compassionately, fairly, professionally and confidentially.
CHCP services are available to everyone throughout the whole community, regardless of age, gender, ethnic origin, creed, address or income level.

Health Centre
McColl Medical Practice is based in Thornliebank Health Centre and registered
with over 6,000 patients in the Thornliebank and Giffnock area. The McColl the largest GP practice in the Thornliebank and Giffnock area also provides antenatal, child health, chiropody, minor surgery and dietetic services.

Care & Repair Renfrewshire provides free and practical advice and assistance to people who are older or have disabilities and live in Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire. The aim is to enable repairs, improvements and adaptations to be carried out to allow our client’s to maintain their independence and remain in their own homes comfortably, safely and securely.
