Anxiety affects on average one in every ten people in the UK. There are many different types of Anxiety Disorders, common ones include panic attacks, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Local Support
If you need emotional advice and support you can talk to your GP. If you require longer term assistance, ask your doctor about referring you to a counsellor. The following organisations can also help:
Causeway One Stop Shop
Causeway offer support and services to people experiencing mental health problems. You can get in touch with Causeway yourself and do not need to have a diagnosis from your GP. Causeway services can be tailored to your needs and include one to one work and groups.

Eastwood Bridges
The team provides services to people in the Eastwood area that are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems, offering counselling and group work for stress anxiety and low mood.
