This scheme offers ways in which you can play a more active role in your child's education. On the website you'll find informative leaflets on a wide selection of topics as well as links to the Disability Equality Scheme and Parent Councils.

Family Literacy Unit
The Family Literacy Unit helps parents to get more involved in their child's development, encouraging mums, dads and carers to educate youngsters from an early age. The Unit is involved in a number of schemes, including Book Start and Side-by-Side that promote the merits of reading with your pre-school child.

Parentzone
Parentzone aims to develop partnerships with parents and schools. There's a host of useful information on the site, looking at the key stages of your child's education.There’s also information on additional support needs, your child’s wellbeing and learning outside school hours.
