There are two Heritage Centres in East Renfrewshire which are located at Barrhead Community Library, Glen Street, Barrhead and Giffnock Community Library, Giffnock. Both centres have a good supply of archive records, books, CD Roms and internet access. If you have a question on local history and heritage and want to speak to the local history librarian who is based in the Heritage Centre at Giffnock Library.
