Management and maintenance of parks

All grass cutting takes place between the beginning of April and runs until the end of October and is on a fourteen day frequency weather permitting.

• Shrub beds are maintained in the winter months December through to March, pruning/forking and raking out and herbicide is applied to keep weed infestation down

• Leaf clearance commences in November and December

• Summer bedding is planted in May and June

• Spring bedding is planted in October/November

• Planting of trees and shrubs takes place Jan/March
