Council performance, statistics and spending

Awards and national schemes that recognise the best achievements of our council services.

The council has been recognised by national local government award schemes.  These schemes showcase and celebrate the best of local government and the innovative and creative ways that services are being delivered to local communities.  This is just some of the awards we have recently won.

For more information on the awards or any of the projects listed please contact or call 0141 577 3660.

Society of Information Technology Management (Socitm) Better connected 2016-17

The council website has been awarded top marks (four-star rating), for the fourth year running, in the Socitm Better connected 2016-17 review. The review looked all UK local authority sites and only 5 were awarded the maximum four stars. Continued improvements to the website will aim to secure the rating for future years.
