Find out about the support available for individuals who are in recovery from drugs or alcohol abuse.

Community Recovery team

If you're stable in your recovery, you can be referred to our Community Recovery team who can provide a range of support to help you move onto education, training and employment.

What is available?

  • Help and support to stay drug or alcohol free.
  • A recovery plan with regular reviews.
  • One to one support from others in recovery.
  • Group work program of recovery.
  • Links to wider community resources.
  • Support with personal development including education, training and employment.
  • Support for your family, if needed.

How do I access the service?

You can access the service if you're motivated to change and have been able to regain control of your usage of drugs or alcohol.

How do I access the service?

  • The Community Addiction team, your doctor or other health professional can refer you. You can also self refer by phone or drop in to talk to someone.

How much does it cost?

Charges apply for some training providers. There's no charge for community based services.
