Immigration Control

Letters for immigration purposes.

For any resident requiring a letter for immigration purposes, certifying that no overcrowding would be created by the proposed additional occupier(s), the application form can be downloaded directly from this link. On payment of the appropriate fee (£82 payable at Eastwood Headquarters, Rouken Glen Road, Giffnock or £41 where a copy of the certificate is required within 1 year of inspection being carried out) an Officer from Protective Services will visit and carry out the required inspection. If the inspection shows that the additional occupier(s) would not cause the property to be overcrowded in terms of the relevant legislation, a letter will be provided for the applicant confirming this.

Should a revisit be required within a 6 month period of the initial visit, a 50% fee reduction is applied.
