This article was first published on: 21 January 2015

Beware: A company calling themselves 'IER Insurance' have been sending letters in an attempt to defraud.

Scam Alert

A company calling themselves 'IER Insurance' who state they are based in the Netherlands have been sending letters. The letter states that the individual named in the letter is to receive £24,000 on a life insurance policy taken out in the 1990's that is maturing. The letter asks for a processing fee of £20-£40 to be sent to a PO BOX number. This is not genuine and is an advance fee fraud.
