Clothing grants and free school meals
Find out if you qualify for a clothing grant or free school meals and apply online.
We're experiencing a high volume of clothing grant and free school meal applications and enquiries at this time. It's taking us longer to process, which means there may be a delay in making payments, although we're working very hard to get through all of the applications as quickly as we can. For free school meals a grace period will be applied to ensure that meals are provided for pupils returning to school.
We kindly ask you, don't send further emails or call about your application. Thank you for your patience.
Clothing grant payments: If you've made a placing request or your child is entering P1, S5 or S6, payment will only be made once your child's details have been verified by the school when they start in August.
Who can apply?
You can apply if your child attends a school in East Renfrewshire and you receive a qualifying benefit.
